Midleton Very Rare 2021

The 2021 edition of the spectacular Midleton Very Rare is the first release with Kevin O’Gorman as the distillery’s Master Distiller. The Irish whiskey is a blend of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys aged between 15 and 36 years, and matured in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels

Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the Master Distiller, the mark of a true whiskey masterpiece. Midleton Very Rare is consistently awarded the highest honours at the world’s most respected whisky awards.

The nose is delicately perfumed with floral notes, fresh coffee and salted caramel. Round and full on the palate, the flavours involve baked orchard fruits, cocoa powder, wood spices and warming spices. The finish has lingering pot still spices and soft fruits.
