  • Glengoyne Legacy Series Chapter Three The third release in Glengoyne Distillery's Legacy Series, Chapter Three is inspired by Sir Arthur John Tedder, the Exciseman stationed at Glengoyne who helped to define the rules on Scotch whisky. Matured in a combination of hand-selected refill sherry and bourbon casks, it offers aromas of bramble jam, cinnamon, vanilla, apple strudel, pear and raisins that fill the nose, complemented by notes of tarte tatin, sherry-soaked raisins, dried fruit, pineapple, dark chocolate, cream sherry and peppery spice throughout the palate. Here we have the 3rd Legacy Series release celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder, the Glengoyne exciseman who helped define the whisky as we know it today.   • The 2022 release of Ardbeg 25 Year Old is a smoky single malt with layers of sweetness that was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled in 2021. Aromas of cream, smoke, peppermint, toffee, fennel, pine resin, earthy bonfires and ripe bananas fill the nose, complemented by notes of white pepper, sherbet lemons, candied apples, oranges, pears, tar, carbolic soap, creamy toffee, aniseed, rich smoke and antiseptic throughout the palate. The newest and also oldest whisky to be released to Ardbeg's core range. This supreme expression proves unequivocally that age cannot tame Ardbeg’s raw smoky power.
